Why we own Lowlines

Lowlines are excellent "starter" cattle, they are easy to handle, have fewer calving problems than standard cattle, and can finish on grass.

The characteristics that make lowlines excellent for those with limited experience are the same characteristics that experienced breeders seek in their own herd. Easy handling means less costs: equipment, fencing and pasture repair. One caution though, any 500+ pound animal that gets "spooked" can be dangerous and one should always be conscious of this.
